This is one of the most rugged design we have developed, seen or even used. It has a Black Rubberized Dimple coating for extra durability. One major difference is this laser is made with a Japanese lens which is superior over the Chinese lenses found in the $36.95 models. The 30mw has a range of up to 8 miles!! C’mon, Pyrus Electronics. If you’re going to substitute a 1mW green laser for a 30mW one, at least change the laser warning label…

I recently purchased this laser pointer thinking this product would work as a laser pointer for my telescope. I even bought a holder for it. The first few times it worked great. The total time over several weeks the switch was on was probably less than 4 minutes(several seconds each time to point the scope). The warranty is only for 30 days so I cannot return it. I lost my money on this one. I am going to purchase a Telrad Finder instead, they last. Worthless. The seller is HDP via Amazon. Cheap import and you get what you pay for.

I bought this laser not thinking it would be the power it said it was, and boy was I wrong!!!!! This laser has a bright green beam for miles in the night time sky, and in the day the beam is barely visble. Of course with any laser dont leave it on for more than one minute at a time as it will weaken the diode life span. This diode Im pretty sure has a life expectancy of 5,000 hours. Lithium batteries usually give the peak beam for a little longer. If you are looking to burn things like matches or pop balloons this is not the laser, shoot for a 100+mW.

Yeah this laser is nice. Solid construction but I highly doubt it is a 30 mw laser. It is just as bright as my 5mw laser. They just changed the label and it looks shady. But here is the good part about getting this laser, its the same price as the 5 mw. So if you want to trick yourself thinking that you are getting a 30mw laser then get this item, Other wise get the 5mw it is the same dang thing. Also there was talks of the 50mw laser not being legit. So make your own call. Factory Tuned my cheeks !!!!
