The Sun, Moon and Stars in Bible versus Quran
In the Bible not in Quran,
The Bible says: There is a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun; the moon was under her feet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. Scientists say that we could fit more than 1.3 million Earths inside the Sun, and still have room to spare. Consequently, this Biblical woman is 1.3 million times bigger than the Earth. Scientists, also, say that the diameter of the Moon is 3474 km. (2159 miles). Accordingly, the diameter of the feet of this Biblical woman is about 3474 km!
Dragon, a Fantasy half- half man-Made creature
The Dragon is mentioned many times in the Bible. A Dragon is a Mythical creature half snake, half human, half bird, half reptile, half beast, half giant, half dinosaur. Dragon can walk, run, fly, swim and dive. Dragon’s breath is half air and half fire etc. The Dragon is not mentioned therein in the entire Quran.
The Bible says: The dragon pushed one third of the stars out of the sky.
There are about 10 trillion stars in our galaxy (10,000,000,000,000). Hence, the Bible says that the dragon pushed more than three trillion stars (3333333000000) out of the sky! What a mighty dragon!
Also, the Bible says: one third of the stars fell out of the sky on the earth. This means that the Bible declares that more than three trillion (33333330000000) stars fell on the earth!
The mass of the Sun is 333,000 times the mass of the Earth.
The mass of the Sun is 1.98892 Ã kilograms;
If we write out the mass of the Sun, with all the zeros; it will be:
1,988,920,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilograms.
Our sun is not that big, the astronomers say that it is a small star among the stars. The biggest star we know of is called Canis Majoris, and astronomers think it could be 2,100 times the size of the Sun.
The Bible says that a woman put on her head a crown of twelve stars; this means that the woman head bears a weight of twelve times the weight of the Sun i.e. 12X 1.98892 Ã or 12X 333,000 times the mass of the Earth!
It is impossible that the Almighty Creator who created the universe has no idea about what He has created; that is why, it seems likely that the writers of the Bible have no idea about the Astronomy nor have they any idea about the dimensions and the mass of the Sun, Moon, Stars and our Galaxy.

In the Quran not in the Bible,
In the Quran, Allah says:”I call to witness the setting of the Stars and I swear with their positions, and that is indeed a mighty adjuration (great swear) if ye but knew” This means that if we know we would realize the value of Allah’ swear.
Allah Swear with the Stars’ settings and positions that the Quran is His Word.
Also, the Quran says that the sun and the moon are but creatures submitted to Allah, the Almighty Creator; hence, prostrate before Allah and do not prostrate before the sun or the moon
When we look at the night sky we see Stars in different positions depending on the time of night. We also see different groups of Stars depending on the time of year. The reason we see Stars move during the night is because the Earth spins.
The Earth orbits the Sun in one year and in one year you will see many different groups of Stars in the sky. These groups are the constellations. Because the Earth orbits the Sun you will see different constellations, for example, at night in the winter months than in the summer. The Stars themselves exhibit motion relative to each other. Using repeated overlapped CCD scans (up-to-date sophisticated technique); positions for 661,591 Stars have been established, however with some errors.
Up my knowledge, which is admittedly limited in Astronomy, to plot “all the Stars in our galaxy” is undoubtedly impossible.
Hence, to determine the positions of the Stars is a very big issue that is out of human competence.
Now, do you realize and accept the value of Allah ‘ swear by the positions of the Stars.
The great issue of the positions of the Stars in the Quran is NEVER mentioned in the Bible.
We are in need of sciences and wisdom and intellectual people to determine precisely the positions of the Stars; although we have to admit that is out of human competence.
That is why, when ALLAH swears with the settings and positions of the Stars, He said:”And it is indeed a great swear if you know”
This means that if we know we would realize the value of Allah’ swear.
But who on the earth know the settings and positions of the Stars?
This mighty swear is for what?
If you admit that Allah’ swear is great and mighty, then I recommend you to read Surah 56: 75-81 to know what is the reason for Allah’ swear.

Yusuf Ali: and he (Allah) has made subject to you the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their courses; and the night and the day has He (also) made subject to you.
Verse 41:37
Yusuf Ali: among his (Allah) signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun and the moon, but prostrate to Allah, who created them, if it is him ye wish to serve.
Verses 56:75-77
Pickthal: nay, I swear by the places of the stars -
Yusuf Ali: furthermore i call to witness the setting of the stars,-
Pickthal: and lo! That verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew -
Yusuf Ali: and that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,-
Pickthal: that (this) is indeed a noble Qur’an
Yusuf Ali: that this is indeed a Qur’an most honorable,
